Morel, is your husband related to mine? I'm not sure if I posted this story or not.

My son used to have a pet snake-a ribbon snake. He didn't even have it home an hour B4 it escaped. Try as we might, we couldn't find it. I thought for sure the only way we'd be able to find it was by the smell after it died.

A few days after it escaped, our son spent the night at a friend's house. I had planned on sleeping in, but hubby was doing some work in JR's room early in the morning. :somad He woke me up. I tried going back to sleep, but every time I started to fall asleep, he'd wake me up again. I finally gave up, and got up. I was down in the basement when I heard my OH calling me because the snake had come out. I go upstairs, and sure enough, there on our son's baseboard heater was the snake. So, I asked my hubby, what do you want me to do? His reply? Catch it! My big, brave hubby! So, I caught it and put it back in it's cage and made sure the lid wouldn't come off!

There's not much chance of finding a poisonous snake around here. So, I'll pick up snakes. Yesterday I found a worm snake. I picked it up and held it for a bit, then put it back down.

We had real daisies on our wedding cake and I carried them as part of my bouquet mixed in with white roses and baby's breath. AND today is my 21st anniversary! :D
We are off to Gillette Castle to tour the castle and find a letterbox and a geocache or two. And hopefully no rattlesnakes. Although it is one area of our state where they can be seen. :hide

So, did you find any snakes? Happy Anniversary!

Thanks! Nope, we found 2 chipmunks, a doe and her twin fawns, another 2 does, a humogous hawk, a gray squirrel and one tick. On DH's shirt. Pictures to come.
