Our humidity level stays over 30% in the winter!!

Yesterday it was +85% and 90 degrees - Heat index 110 F. You all would never make it!

I'm originally from Wisconsin. I remember those 95/95% humidity days well. I will take 15% humidity and 100 over that ANY DAY! I used to march in parades in that soup! Ended up in the hospital once. Ugh!

Nopers. During downpours, it is still on 60% humidity at the most LOL!!

43% up here today.

Our heat index is usually cooler than the actual temperature. Strong breezes off the mountain are cool year round. Not like AZ where the wind is HOTTER than the air.

Breathing soup is an expression I use frequently this time of year here. And yeah, I do know there are places where it's worse! Having just come back from hunting for letterboxes and geocaches in hot sunny cemeteries I'm about to join DS in his inflatable 2 foot deep pool!

And now that DH is out of town for 5 days, the 9 year old starts asking about the birds and the bees. Dang! Not fair!!!!

Nope, he knows very little. Hasn't asked, so we haven't offered. He's asking whacky questions and has some twisted info (from church camp of all places) and somehow got it into his head that tampons and bikinis are related in someway. This from a conversation he overheard between a male camper age 11 and 2 waterfront counselors. We sorted that out but it is obviously time for more basic info. Back in my day you didn't need to knwo this stuff going INTO 4th grade!!!!

Can it be right that we will have 90% humidity by 3am here??? That has to be wrong!!! It's about 51% right now and I feel like I'm under water. Oh, I looked further and by 4am it should be storming. Maybe it does make sense.

You know it is summer when ... You step outside from an 85 degree house and your glasses fog up!!

Oh yeah, blech.
Just talked to MIL who is in the Hudson River Valley. Their humidity is quite bad.
DH's uncle passed away today. Looks like we will not make the services since DH is stuck in class. He may go to calling hours Wednesday evening but he is not expected to. He forgot his appropriate clothing. Oh well.
