How to start prepping?

hi everybody I'm new here and jumping in
Just wanted to mention an easy thing I found is that when you empty a liquid laundry detergent jug fill it with water and write "wash water" or something similar on it and put it under a sink. I have a few under each sink in my house. I haven't gotten to rainbarrels yet but I hope to soon. These water jugs can be used to wash hands, clothes, flush toilets, ect.. you don't even need to rinse the soap out.

It is amazing to see how many "containers" are being thrown away. Recently I got some little valve devices for watering chickens (Avian Aqua Miser) and have been attaching them to every heavy plastic bottle I can find. Works good especially the red ones. Chickens like red things.

They are a little hard to drink from but the chickens seem to do OK with them...LOL

Perhaps you have just not filled YOUR bottle with the right sort of drink to entice you to try harder.
