Well, it would be a tree farm they are hiring for Christmas season help...moving out 2500 trees a day...wow that's a lot of trees LOL

They said he would get a Christmas bonus and a free tree.

My husband did that work, it aint easy. He did it for 4 years. Good deal!

I hate that they just ignore Thanksgiving and go straight to Christmas.

I don't mind Christmas, I just hate all the commercialism that it's become about and I would rather just make it something simple....and make homemade gifts for my kiddos.

65 amendment states: No person or business shall decorate for the upcoming holiday more than 30 days in advance.

This thread was a real joy to read- it just kept getting better. Congratulations to you and your hubby.
I still love Christmas though- decorating is such fun- there was the year of oragami birds made from last years wrapping paper or the year where I carefully split walnuts in half and picked the meats for cooking so that I could gluethe halves back together, paint ttem gold and glue a red ribbon around them for hanging. I love digging out my Greatgrandmothers glass birds with isenglass tails or some the the glass balls that came on the tree my father broungt home intact from his job at a furniture store- it was the Depression and the store was clearing out their Christmas display windows so he got this very artistic tree and ornaments to surprise my Mom. Lots of stories over the years.

Now that I could get on board with, LOL, but I think the people would uprise LOL

etr, I do enjoy Christmas. I hope no one really thinks I hate the holiday? To be honest, if I didn't have kids, probably wouldn't bother with it, but I make it all about the kids.
