Don't blame you on the cows, I've had cows, I like cows, but opted for small livestock that would be easier to handle. We have hair sheep. We have friends that raise grass fed beef, we buy half a steer and are happy with that arrangement.

For the most part, cows need their own pasture. I had a Longhorn bull that was a PITA. He ran at me, I carried a pipe and took a batter-up stance. When he got to me, I swung-HARD and whalloped him on the nose. That stopped his a$$! LOL Then I charged him, beating him with the pipe. He ran. We were at war all the time. He also jumped the fence and ran up and down the road. I was afraid of him causing a wreck and somebody getting hurt, so I sold him. I still like cows, but our 8 acres just isn't big enough.

She was not aggressive she was greedy and lacked any redeeming qualities in my eyes. She also destroyed a fence in order to get to my neighbors bull. He was not happy. She also destroyed another fence just to eat my mango tree. That was the last straw for me. The only think that was even close to amusing was my husband standing by the feeding bins and wracking her with his cane whenever she bullied the other animals. She feared that cane it got to the point where you just had to show it to her and she would behave. I lacked the patience for that routine though and my husband lacks the endurance so well stick to the friendlier kinder easier to handle bunch.
