That is such a nice place. The price is way cheap, compared to where I live. Yeah, you need that!

Yea, I've been looking at places that have a minimum of 5 acres and I haven't found anything for less than 300 - 350K.... House prices (for house that didn't flood) around here have SKYROCKTED since Hurricane Harvey. And these are not extraordinary houses...just a typical 3b 2bath house.

That's ball park for a renovation project on not-fantastic land. If you want even cheaper, head up to Co Mayo, Leitrim, Roscommon and Donegal. Or look for bank repossessions. I've seen a bit of a mess of a house with a huge barn, outbuildings and 2.5 acres go for €25,000 in west Limerick once.

Property prices have actually gone up quite a bit over the last year or two. But I hear with this ongoing and ever-getting-messier situation with Brexit, the north etc, our economy (and house prices) may get hit a bit again.

Lovely property!! :love I would live in it. I am looking at properties here, but none as nice here in my price range ($10,000.00). At least, I haven't found it yet.:(
