Congrats on the anniversary and good luck with the hatch!

Good luck with your eggs! I wish you luck, but be warned shipping is usually rough on hatching eggs. :)

Well my friends a lot has happened in my life since my last post, Lets start with my life changing events, My not so darling wife informed me at the end of july 2014 she no longer wanted to be married and left me for another man, so yeah i was really bummed out for a while, then i got really ill in sept of 2014 and lost about 45 percent of my lungs, that took my mind off my not so darling wife, long story short i'm still doing my off grid farmstead, tho i have had to make several changes in what i am able to do. I sold my livestock and had put in 2 ponds which people thought i was crazy for doing, i raise fish out in the middle of the desert lol, i have 3 grow tunnels and an aguaponics system, i did get put on social security over my lungs and life has been fair for me, i do miss having someone to share life with and hope one day a decent lady will come into my life at 57 it don't seem like that will really happen but one can wish :)

Bummer! And, right after you wrote about your anniversary. Sorry to hear that! Gosh, then the lung problem. 2014 was not a good year for you. Would love to see pics of your "desert ponds" and aquaponics system. Hope 2017 is looking up for you!

So, I was not at member when you first posted but, sorry about the divorce. As you see, divorce can be put into the past, been there, and you have found some structure in your life, it appears. I'm with Moon, would love to see pics.

As you mention, solitary work can have a certain emptiness. I find it less "inviting" to push yourself for "getting to it" and/or trying new things when you have no one to share the experience with. But, this forum does help with that to a degree. Still not like having someone to discuss your plans for the day, or accomplishments of the day, at breakfast/dinner. AND when I garden, I much prefer someone there to work alongside.

Hope you find time to share with us.

Too bad about your marriage. Sometime people will trade in a Rolls Royce for a Volkswagen. Who can figure?

It sounds as though you have a productive life and that is one of the most satisfying feeling in the world.

Life goes on and gets better. You have your feet on solid ground and have put your life back together, good for you. Would love to see pics!

Good to see you again, but sorry to hear about the divorce and your health issues.

I would also love to see some pics of your set-up and doings, please?
