Shroom city!!!!

I cut down two white oaks, one was in good condition but planning to build a new bridge next year, and the second had the top missing and wasn't growing up, just out.

PM me if you want some dowels with shiitake spores, I may have some left over after I finish the project I started on tonight. The basics is to drill a 5/16 hole in oak, pound in the plug, cover with wax. I am doing a video on it, its simple and straight forward. You will have super cheap mushrooms for the next 5-6 years.

Your shroom logs look lovely, MP. Just thought I'd share a couple of pictures of our spring veggies.

Pak Choi - I'd recommend anyone try these - so easy to grow.

Lettuce - Buttercrunch - just sounds good doesn't it? I'm in the process of transplanting some of these to give them more room.

Spinach - our best seller at the Farmer's Market - 'course it needs to grow some but we've got about 3 weeks.
