Jerseys are beautiful!

Just my .02 if you are thinking about getting her... I don't know if that is the going price by you but around here you can get a bred jersey or jersey cross for $650 -$800. Milk cows usually look a little bonier than a beef cow but she looks extra scrawny in the ribs, shoulders, and rump. Should fatten up on good feed but if she's not bred... there's probably a reason (age, not enough weight, or disease). If it were me, I'd take a pass on this one...

When we had cows, those that were more bony were the best milkers. All their feed went into producing milk instead of adding body weight.
