Here in Ohio we have had milder than usual weather. The days in the 50s and no freezes at night are spoiling me. Makes chores outside not so bad. Last night I was rained on while outside and looks the same today, but at least it isn't snow and frozen waterers.

I am just a bit North of Dace so our weather is about the same. I have been working in the house all day. Kinda cool with the front door open. Maybe high 60's inside. I have turned on the furnace at night. Set it to 65 to keep the chill off. We have quite a breeze in the afternoons. Comes right off the ocean. Last night I lit a fire and warmed my toes.

I keep walking out on my patio. Those pavers are basked in sunlight and radiating the most wonderful heat. Very distracting.

79 of our 82 counties have been declared natural disasters due to excess rain during planting & harvest, accompanied by summer drought. Many crops rotted on the ground & hard to be turned under. Hurray for federal assistance... :/

I think modern pioneer mentioned this, but I'd like to repeat it. Food prices will go UP this winter. Bank on it.

Seriously, they have NEVER waiting until the middle of November to harvest the cotton, either.

It is supposed to be 75 here today, clear and sunny. In side the house wa scold this morning....67. Had to turn on the heat for an hour. Ahhhh......

Wow. My heat is set to turn on at 65. It didn't come on today. It was probably 55 F here today. Me thinks you might freeze over here.
