JUSTUSNAK...Summer coming to an end!?

Glad to hear kiki is doing well. Oh a summer kitchen sounds so nice. Any extra storage is always a plus. I would be excited about the cabinets as well. I know I read it before but are your new sheep going to be mainly pets? Will they have something you can use, wool milk etc??? i don't know much about sheep.

These little ones will be pets....and breeders. They do have a GREAT wool. I have another friend that has an extra spinning wheel. She said when I get there little ones...let her know, she will bring her extra spinning wheel, carders and give me free lessons, and I get to "keep" the wheel and carders!! Her words were, " borrow indefinately" ;)

Now I'm coveting again!!! :drool I love your friends! How cool is that? Who was it on here the other day looking for a spinning wheel, and you have a friend who will not only give you one but show you how to use it! Not fair at all! :P

justasnak, congrats on the sheep! I am hoping to get an Alpaca Cria, I want it for the fibers, but not opposed to breeding. I s'pose, tho, if they were made available, I'd settle for sheep!
 
Well....bragging is not good either. :hide AND, I havent gotten them yet...so....I hope I didnt jinx myself. I am just so excited that we are SUPPOSED to be getting them. I have wanted these baby dolls for a long time now...and the opportunity had come. COME ON WARMER WEATHER...so I can get my fence in! :D

edited to add....CONGRATS on the cria!! Ohhh, ONE day I would love to be able to afford them as well. Such sweet little faces!
 
:gig Oh no no no congrats on a cria!! I want one, and I found some locals with some for sale and I am going to go talk to them about their Crias for sale and costs, general care, etc.

I cant believe this crazy weather. Yesterday was partly sunny..and in the low 60's. Beautifull weather! I should have known...it wouldnt last. I woke this morning to SNOW! Yes...there is white stuff everywhere...and its coming down hard. NOoooooooooo, I dont want snow!! :barnie Hopefully I need to run to the next large town over, about 45 minutes one way today..and get a few baby ducks! Out of 7 eggs in the bator, only ONE hatched...it needs companions! TODAY! UGH! Then, the PO called me...my BC Maran eggs are in...and LEAKING! NO NO NO!!! I cant stand it. Not even 8 am, and already 2 strikes against me. :th I am going to MAKE this day turn around.....got the woodstove blazeing...and I think I will make some chicken and dumplins...yeah...great comfort food. ;)
That will make it better. OK, so :fl when I call Orschelins this morning, thier baby ducks will be in. Wish me luck! :D
