Hey MP!! Where were you standing when you took that pic of me!?? I swear I didnt see ya comin!

So, after I went to town, got the hay..which the sheep were VERY appreciative of...I bought cabages for the chickens....they too were very happy....I started the normal chores of filling feeders...waterers...and getting the duck egg, before it freezes. Well, Im telling ya'll...my little frizfriz is SUCH a primadonna!! I moved her into a pen with a few baby NakedNecks.( they were a "gift" from a "friend") LOL Anyways...Frizfriz is such a good little hen, so she is the one that teaches the babies. When I went in there today, and opened her pen, she came FLYING out at me, just a bitc*in! I guess she is tired of babysitting! So, I let her out for a bit...to scratch around...and I stood there watching her...she ran to me, up on my boot..and bawled!!

So I squated down, and up on my lap she came in a flash. See, I have been a bit busy, and sick....so frizfriz hasn't goten her "mommy time" lately and she let me know today in no uncertain terms, she wanted her time, and NOW!

So there I am, squated down in the coop...with a frizzle on my lap, when in walks the ducks. Oh no, Friz was NOT going to let THEM get any of her time...she flew off my lap screaming and flapping those tiny little wings...and sent the ducks a packin! I fell to the floor laughing...as she turned...looked at me and chirped..and came back to my lap. We sat there for about 10 minutes....and she was content. There is another little chicken, in the banty pen...pretty little thing...Banty Cochin, rust and black. I can't tell if its a cockerell or a pullet....and it was at the door acting like it wanted out with friz..so I am thinking, ok, its a little cockerell...and I will put HIM in with friz...a flat and a frizzle. So I picked him up, and placed him in the pen with friz...where she proceeded to rage an all out war on that poor little ( now I know) pullet. I was able to call frizz off..and she came running to me..I scolded her, she dropped her head as if in shame...and I grabbed the little pullet and put her back with the others.
Here is a pic of my little friz...so tiny, but has the personality of a full size Rooster!
This pic is an older one, she is MUCH more filled out now, and has her "woman" figure. ( ie: wide bottom)
She USED to live with the Buff Orpingtons...but was literall bullying the larger hens away from the feeder....so I had to take her out. I just love this little spitfire!!
