So...roday I got to hold my granddaughter for the first time!

I sat there for almost an hour...just smelling...touching...listening...and near tears. She is so beautifull! So tiny still...but at least she is HOME!!! 5 pounds, 10 ounces. Momma needed to feed her, and I didnt want to let her go! LOL So I handed her over...and then I got...THE CALL! The pygmys are ready for pickup!!!!! It was almost 2:30...and I had to run home, get the kennel, and my boots, then run back to town, get some money from the bank for gas...and pick up crazy lady! LOL She begged me to let her go...I couldn't say no, because she helped me get the others in HER van. :/ So, about 3:30, we head out to Indy. ME driving this time...LOL Click on the "fuzz buster" and let her go! I was there in just over an hour. LOL Supposed to be 1 1/2 hr drive. I was just so excited that I was able to have these babies.
So we get there and I have to waite on A to come out, and let me get the goats. About 15 minutes of me standing there in the "drop off room" just looking at all those dogs dropped off in the last 4 days....I was in tears. Talking to them and telling them I am so sorry they had JERKS for past owners. I wanted to take them ALL home. One in particular...a ****zhu looking dog. He was in need of grooming...and just layed there looking up at me with those big brown eyeballs...so sad...and crying!!! I walked over and reached through, he leaned into my hand.

UGH! So sad. He just wimpered when I walked away.

I knew I was in a dangerous place...me and sad homeless dogs. I just wanted to load them ALL up...well, most of them, LOL.
FINALLY, A came out, so I could go get the goaties.
We walked to the barn, and out the ran.

We got the little buck right away, he is the friendliest little thing.
We had to chase the Doe a little, she is more standoffish. and DEFINATELY PREGGERS!!!
Arent they just the cutest things!????
They are settled in with the 3 larger ones...for now. Hopeing I can get the 3 boys in a home SOON, at least before the little one kids! If she looks like she is getting too close...I will have to make ANOTHER pen, to seperate them. Oh, and can I leave the little buck with the little doe, when she has her kid?? Or is that a big nono??
