Nelly is a Shetland. Her wool really is quite nice...and fairly clean. There is so much lanolin in her wool, that when I rub through it...my hands are literally brown covered in it.
QA...LOL on the papers...but..at least you have BEEF!!! Ohhh, how I wish I could have at least ONE!!!

We are just a covetous bunch, aren't we? I can't help myself....but then, there are worse things to covet than animals and pasture....

I look at the empty fields on either side of me and dream of what I could put on that grass....my neighbor on the one side has to brush hog perfectly clean grass~no brush~ each year.

I agree with you Bee, there are worse things to covet. It would hurt my feelings to see someone have to work so hard to keep grass cut like that, when they could put some beneficial animals out there!

OFG, I just today read your siggy. LOL You need to change that into....Hater of LIVE pigs!
The babies are doing great this morning. It was a little cool last night...in the upper 20's, and I was worried for them being that I dont have electric out there for heat lamps. I went this morning to feed...and cuddle..and they are doing just fine! Hopping and skipping around. They both ran up to me when I went in there....Awwww, I just love babies!!
We are supposed to have sunshine through the weekend!! WOOHOO!!!! Maybe this swamp will dry up a little.

Well....Hello Jay! Yup, as a matter of fact, I think he is doing the potato bed Saturday. Potatoes will go in the 10 x 20 area, and peas will go around it. Im super excited to get this all started!
