Thanks everyone. I went in today to fill out the paperwork. We was there for almost 2 hrs! So, after filling out tax forms, applications, health forms...then, go stand in THAT line..yeah, the one with 30 people in it. :/ So, we waited....and waited...and FINALLY got to the woman at the desk...she looks over the papers...fills in something, and tell us to go get our pictures taken, for our ID badges!

Then she said...waite...and pointed to a sign, and said...can you handle that!?? The sign said...you might be asked to strip down to your bathing suit, and step through a decontamination chamber, hosed down, and redress. :/ I just looked at her and said..well..ummm, yeah, I can do that...I guess. Now I have to go buy a one piece bathing suit...you know, the kind for fat old ladies...one that will be comfortable under jeans.

Thats ok, for the money we will be makeing...I can do this.

Another woman was walking through the line, asking if there were any questions...someone asked how much they pay? ( i wanted to ask, but didnt want to ask, ya know? LOL ) So, she ruffled through some papers...and said. $11.00 an hour...with a $3.75 premium. Anything over 8 hrs a day, will be time and a half on the $11.00/hr. So, Overtime would be $20.00+/hr

PICK ME PICK ME!!!!!!!! Oh, and funny...they feed ya a sack lunch...and water. ( most likely bologna, or PBJ) Some people will be asked to play a prisoner...go to jail, and sit there for 8 hrs. Can I bring a book!?? LOL Or my Cell phone?? LOL I seriously doubt that cell phones will be allowed. I heard one lady talking about how last year, she did this....they covered her in fake blood, and made her lay in the "street" for 8 hrs. All the while "bombs" were going off around her, men and women running around screaming, gunfire...LOL Sounds like FUN!! I can't waite till mid June...we will know something by then. So then, on my way home...traffick was stopped. We live just off st rt 50. ( yeah hwy 50 sales THIS WEEKEND) Anyways....there was a semi that drifted off the road...over the ditch, and up against the RR tracks. I think he was OK, just dozed off. This happens at LEAST once a year...if not more...on hwy 50. Now, its not winding roads...no hills..just flat with gentle curves. I dont get it. Why so many!?? Last year a truck drifted off the road, and he was going so fast, he went airborn OVER the tracks half way. The trailor caught on a telephone pole, and stopped him from going into the field past the tracks. scarey!
So I sat there about an hour, in traffic. The other truckdrivers were walking around, makeing light conversation. I was able to get a pic of the truck in the ditch still.
I didnt see rescue there, so I dont know the details of the driver. I just hope he is OK.
Well, back outside...untill the rain comes! LOL
