Oh my!!!! Christmas rush is over, and I am happy as a pig in mud!! Oh, I got the "usual" stuff...2 nightgowns...smellies..( white Diamonds perfume and lotion) then...the "big gift" are you ready???
Hubby got me a 20 g shotgun, and 75 rounds of number 6 shot!!!! WHOOOOWEEEEEEE!!!! I think I have 55 rounds left. That milk jug didn't stand a chance! He didnt get the scope, but, I am saveing for one already! I just love my new gun. Sure beats the pants off of the little 22 handgun...now the 357 might come in close...but I LOVE my new shotgun! I swear...there better be some varmit coming around here soon, or I might have to take it all out on the hornets nest in the tree! LOL
The paper flying frenzy is over...leftover put away...cookie daze lingering....all is quiet. The tree is sparkling bright..the animals all tucked in for the evening...a good fire going, and the coffee is done. Time to sit back and relax a bit. I hope everyone had a wonderfull Christmas!

I can tell you're not from Jersey just from that! The most you're allowed around here is 3 shells in a gun. I don't recall if they modify them, or if that's how they're sold. My 20 ga will only hold 3. But, congrats on the gun! Glad you had such a nice day.

Hey Deb....my 20 g originally held 3....at the end of the stock, just under the barrell...there is a cap. You twist off the cap and under there is a little spring loaded rod, push the rod in with your finger 1 1/2 inch, and twist 90 degrees.....then SLOWLY pull your finger out, the rod will come with it. Take that cap off the spring, remove the rod, and put the cap on, push in 1 1/2 inch, and turn 90 degrees the opposite direction, then put the original cap on. Now it will hold 5! These instructions were in with my gun. As far as I know, no laws here...Hmmm, guess I better check into that one! LOL
