I am afraid we are really in for it. The rain is picking up, and freezing on contact. The winds are starting to pick up as well. THATS where the trouble lays...the winds. While I was outside, I could hear the tree branches rattling and cracking. Come on SPRING!!!!

Sadly, the conditions are deteriorating!! UGH! Power flickered...im ready..but hubby is at work. I dont want to do this alone. Dang!

I just got through talking to my D1 as she did a stock check. She is alone in this as well. :/

Aww. Thanks FF. I should have said...im not TOTALLY alone...I have Mr. 20 guage....Mr 357..and 22 jr with me...close and very comforting.

I took this picture this afternoon...about 3 pm. It has been raining since, and the temps have fallen from 33 to 30, in 2 hrs.

If anyone wants to come and get me in the middle of this mess they are welcome! They will be too frozen to put up much fight.

Still it is nice to have friends about when it is like this.

I forgot to tell you ... when I asked my D1 if she still had power she said, "Yes and I hope I keep it. I would hate to have to get all Ayla up into this white mess!"

Yeah...I dont forsee any issues with unwanted visitors...however, we ARE only 2/10 of a mile from St Hwy 50. At least there are other homes between me and the hwy. However, if the power goes out...and there is no other noise...all those trees cracking and poping...yeah, I admit, I get a little freaked out.
