They were water balloons. He was told...hold them with your hands as you walk, if they rupture, your dead! LOL

How do you put on make up to indicate a broken spine?

They had put "broken skin" bruising, and blood on my back along my spine. I was told to " not move" and they did all the lifting, moving for me. They had to cut my clothes off...( I had a bathing suit on under it and they were not MY clothes) Then I was sprayed down with water, to decontaminate. Ahhhhh, at 95 degrees outside, THAT felt good! At one point tho, when they were "rolling me" to spray my back, the girl told me..." don't help us, let us do all the work" she rolled me towards her, and was too swift, the back board slipped out, and I almost hit the ground! I was like...WOAH there, dont drop me!!! Her Sergeant yelled at her, " EASY there, she has a broken back already!"
We were told tomorrow they will pick a few of us to give the military a " hard time" I SOooooooooooooooooooooooooo hope I am one of them.

My teenage DS went through a triage effort like this last month (as a rescuer). He had a blast and talked about about it for a week! This is the kid who used to faint at an ingrown toenail was acting like he was in charge of the camp compound triage efforts from M.A.S.H.

I had a therapy dog. A dog is limited to 1 hour per visit, for the dog's sanity. My dog figured out she got 10 minutes per person she visited. So after 8 - 9 minutes she would start acting disinterested and even whine so that she could go see the next resident. A relief for me as it made good-byes easier!

I have a service dog now that is trained to alert me at a certain time every day so I can take my medications. I had a dog previous to her that would wake me out of bed every morning. Some days it took many tries to get me out of bed (I was very depressed), but he was always on time and happy about it.
