Thanks everyone, I am super excited!! Of course it is cold and rainy today, so I can't go out and play on my tractor!

NO FAIR!! LOL
So I just came inside from helping hubby remove the drum from the truck....the brake drum. It was stuck on there pretty good, and the more we worked on it the lower our hopes were of not having to sink a lot of money into it. We were banging, and cussing...

FINALLY...it broke loose. Once we got it off...everything loos normal. Not a lot of brake dust...everything is attached....no ruts on the drum...and the pads look almost new!

So, we cleaned it up, and hubby is going to put it back on...and just see what happens. We were talking...and I asked if because it got so hot, on the hills...is it possible that the adjusting screw locked up? He agreed it could have happened. So, once he gets it back together, he is going to take it out for a drive..see what happens. Again, it seems we have been Blessed! Thank you Lord!!! We really do not have the finances to put into this truck right now. We are still trying to get the money together for propane...for winter. Glad we have a wood stove.

So, I separated the cream from one gallon of milk...from my Suzie....this is the cream I got...
Just over a half pint, from one gallon milk. It is THICK too! So, now I have just over a half gallon cream...almost butter time!
I am off to make some cheese....expecting company today, for a farm visit. Hope everyone has a wonderful day!
