I have a load of knitting supplies that are just sitting there making me angry. It was given to me a few years ago, but I am knitting-disabled. There are about a dozen different yarns, a dozen or more sets of needles, crochet hooks, various little markers, clips and mysterious doohickies. There's also a Knitting Encyclopedia that is all there except for the cover.

I've tried to learn to knit at least 5 times, and I always end up failing utterly. So! If the SHTF, I guess we just won't have socks

Anyone want to trade it for something? Seeds, soaps, something?
I like everything but knitting, I'm open to trade suggestions :D

NOT Southern, Ca. :)
Don't give up on yourself. Perhaps you can crochet with the yarn. It is much easier. Good for making baby blankets throws etc..

I can't really knit either. But Knifty knitting that's another story. :D

I'll take it if you have not already given it a home.

I have a few varieties of heirloom tomato seeds that I saved myself last year. I should also be getting more heirloom seeds soon via mail. Stuff like pak choi, unique eggplant, beets etc.

I have kefir grains

I have kombucha tea scoby

Anything sound good? Tell me what you like and I'll make a box for ya. :)

It's all yours, BBH!
I'd love some seeds or a baby kombucha! Either one would be great :)

Shall we PM each other's addresses?

Your package is in the mail!

Don't laugh too hard at the packaging job when it gets there :p
All I had was duct tape, and I decided it would be poor SS spirit to buy a roll of clear tape for just one job, so the box looks extra country.

 I won't laugh if you won't laugh at the box I put in the mail for you today either!

I sent you 4-5 packages of heirloom, organic tomato seeds. Some have more seeds than others. (Chocolate cherry, brandywine, black plum romas and I think sungold cherry, I can't remember what else.)

Two types of heirloom carrot and organic flat leaf parsley seeds too.

Cross your fingers the kombucha tea starter and scoby won't drip all over! :fl

Enjoy!

That's exactly what I thought! The box I sent her was covered in duct tape to hold everything together; the only box I could find was probably ten years old and falling apart. So have no fear!

The Story of the Traveling Box! I might have to save it to sent to someone else in the future on here :p

Those flat rate boxes look very appealing though. Did you know that you can order those online and have them shipped to you?? Oh the irony!
