Hey, don't give up on that ugly material! Ugly material makes great quilt squares and don't forget....you paid for BOTH SIDES of the fabric....some fabrics can be used with the wrong side facing out since they are usually more toned down if you turn them over. If you cut ugly fabric into smaller squares (2-4 inches) where you can't see the whole pattern sometimes you can get a lovely patchwork effect that tones down the ugly!

I use ugly fabric for mock ups to test new patterns :D

Not giving up on the ugly fabric, but trying to make my money back on what I'm keeping! :) I figure if I cram those flat-rate boxes as full as I can get them, someone else will probably get a deal and I'll still be making .50/yard at least.
