This email was sent to me, wasn't sure where to post it, because it doesn't really fit with the Games, Jokes, and Fun section, but I wanted to share it.
~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~
WOW!!!
This lady should run for President!! She is right on the
money,
and she's not afraid to take credit for it either!! She left
her name
and phone number at the end!
This letter you are about to read was
written by a 4th grade teacher
this past week. She even gave the world her
telephone and fax numbers.
We are in dire need of more true American citizens
who are proud of
OUR United States of America. WAKE UP AMERICA . . . please .
. .
before it is too late!
April 27,
The White House
1600 Pennsylvania Avenue NW
Washington , DC
Mr. Obama:
I have had it with you and your administration,
sir. Your conduct on
your recent trip overseas has convinced me that you are
not an
adequate representative of the United States of America
collectively
or of me personally. You are so obsessed with appeasing the
Europeans
and the Muslim world that you have abdicated the responsibilities
of the
President of the United States of America. You are responsible
to the
citizens of the United States.
You are not responsible to the
peoples of any other country on earth.
I personally resent that you go around
the world apologizing for the
United States telling Europeans that we are
arrogant and do not care
about their status in the world. Sir, what do you
think the First
World War and the Second World War were all about if not
the
consideration of the peoples of Europe? Are you brain dead ? What
do
you think the Marshall Plan was all about?
Do you not understand or
know the history of the 20th century? Where
do you get off telling a Muslim
country that the United States does
not consider itself a Christian country?
Have you not read the
Declaration of Independence or the Constitution of the
United States?
This country was founded on Judeo-Christian ethics and the
principles
governing this country, at least until you came along, come
directly
from this heritage. Do you not understand this?
Your bowing
to the king of Saudi Arabia is an affront to all
Americans. Our President
does not bow down to anyone, let alone the
king of Saudi Arabia. You don't
show Great Britain, our best and one
of our oldest allies, the respect they
deserve yet you bow down to the
king of Saudi Arabia . How dare you, sir! How
dare you!
You can't find the time to visit the graves of our greatest
generation
because you don't want to offend the Germans but make time to
visit a
mosque in Turkey . You offended our dead and every veteran when
you
give the Germans more respect than the people who saved the
German
people from themselves. What's the matter with you?
I am
convinced that you and the members of your administration have
the historical
and intellectual depth of a mud puddle and should be
ashamed of yourselves,
all of you. You are so self-righteously
offended by the big bankers and the
American automobile manufacturers
yet do nothing about the real thieves
in this situation, Mr. Dodd, Mr.
Frank, Franklin Raines, Jamie Gorelic, the
Fannie Mae bonuses, and the
Freddie Mac bonuses. What do you intend to do
about them? Anything? I
seriously doubt it.
What about the U.S. House
members passing out $9.1 million in bonuses
to their staff members - on top
of the $2.5 million in automatic pay
raises that lawmakers gave themselves? I
understand the average House
aide got a 17% bonus. I took a 5% cut in my pay
to save jobs with my
employer.
You haven't said anything about that.
Who authorized that? I surely
didn't! Executives at Fannie Mae and Freddie
Mac will be receiving
$210 million in bonuses over an eighteen-month period,
that's $45
million more than the AIG bonuses. In fact, Fannie and
Freddie
executives have already been awarded $51 million - not a bad take.
Who
authorized that and why haven't you expressed your outrage at
this
group who are largely responsible for the economic mess we have
right
now.
I resent that you take me and my fellow citizens as
brain-dead and not
caring about what you idiots do. We are watching what you
are doing
and we are getting increasingly fed up with all of you. I also
want
you to know that I personally find just about everything you do
and
say to be offensive to every one of my sensibilities. I promise
you
that I will work tirelessly to see that you do not get a chance
to
spend two terms destroying my beautiful
country.
Sincerely,
Every Real American
P.S. I rarely ask
that emails be 'passed around'.............
PLEASE SEND THIS TO YOUR EMAIL
LIST......it's past time for all
Americans to wake up!
Thought I'd add, I don't think anyone needs to report this to Obama, as I'm pretty sure he's supposedly has the original copy...but maybe this email is the reason why we're supposed to be reporting things that are...well...Anti-Obama??
Sounds like she has some issues. Hope she keeps her feelings to herself around her 4th graders.
:lol:
Yeah, when I was in a religion class a while back the teacher kept telling everyone not to vote from Obama because its a sin, and that we should not support him in any way. She went on for about 30 minutes about how bad he was. Lol. Not necessarily agreeing or disagreeing, but hopefully the 4th graders don't have to listen to that.
It really irritates me when my granddaughter repeats what she has been taught about humans actually being powerful enough to control the climate. What a load of carp that is. No real science is being taught to them, no history of the environment with the HUGE variatione temperature that came about centuries before automation. Just a load of liberal manure about how we are supposed to save the planet. Maybe we ought to all buy carbon offsets. Guess who has a majority interest in the company that sells them? Gee, might that be Al "You shall not question me" Gore? Yep. He has quintupled his fortune since he began shoving global warming down our throats. Wow, no conflict of interest there...nope, not a bit.
And they teach this baloney in schools. They have no business indoctrinating children with unsubstantiated pablum.
I don't think I agree with her...
And anyway, Great Britain (was not always Great Britain) and was/is not one of the USA's oldest allies, has she forgotten her basic early American history? Or am I the only one who read about the early days of America as a country on it's own, fighting against, speaking out against, and doing everything they could to harm the English in order to be free of their rule?
IDK -- I love you guys, but for the most part, the world has a view of Americans as arrogant and selfish, and IMO Obama openly admitting this will eventually lead to a changed perception of Americans in that sure, they were arrogant, but they have admitted it, and said sorry, and maybe they're not so bad after all. I think a big part of the American image that a lot of Europeans see is that the USA is a big bully in the world. I know this is a view my parents had when they moved from England to Canada (and really still do, my uncle immigrated from England to California and my mum still doesn't agree with it).
ETA: After Bush's ridiculous time as president, and his complete inability to recognize the selfish, arrogant, and bullying image he portrayed of the USA on the open market, I think it is due time the USA had a president who knows what the country's weak "character" is and how to fix it so that the world that the USA still currently resides in, has a different view of Americans as people, and America as a country. I think when Bush was president, he emphasized this arrogance, made the rest of the world feel as if they were lesser people.
FOR INSTANCE. When I was in England a few years ago with my family (we're English, born 'n' bred) we stopped for ice cream in London somewhere, and I went to buy and the vendor asked where in the USA I was from, I said, sorry but I was from Canada (and originally from England), and he said, oh well for you we have a different price... and promptly LOWERED the price of my ice cream (I'm not even kidding). He said that the American customers he got were rude, ungrateful, and arrogant and thus he charged more for his product.
Just my 2 cents
Yeah--I think she had some basic history a bit mixed up also or perhaps just misinterpreted.
I thought it was strange that she refused to admit American arrogance but then was outraged that Obama bowed, BOWED to a foreign leader as "American presidents don't bow to anyone!" Oops. Looks a bit like hypocrisy to me.
I have frankly been too busy with summer life to follow politics much, but I doubt anyone can claim that "Obama is abdicating his responsibilities to his own country" by trying for better relations with foreign countries. Yikes! In the world post 911, I am seriously thrilled to have a president who is working for better relations.
Just my 2 cents.
