Went early this morning and got 3 square bales of 2nd cutting alfalfa hay for $6.00 each. The goats are in heaven! If we can come pick the 3rd cutting up out of the feild we can have them for $5.00 each. Or he had grass hay for $4.00 each. Squares are next to impossable to find this year so far. One of the farmers that used to do squares said he couldn't find anyone to help buck the bales so he is just going to do big rounds from now on. (He is in his 60's) we said if the haying would coencide with dh days off we would help. But this seem to be a theme from what I hear.
Went up to burlington steamboat days and walked the fair ground. Then went over to the park and played a round of mini golf with the kids and they have a batting cage .25 for 6 balls. Had a ton of fun for @ 2 hours. My daughter and her boyfriend bought the weeklong passes to the steamboat days for 50.00 each (1 day is 40.00) and they could only go last night and tonight. And tomarow on we get their tickets for free! Yay. Last night was luke bryan, and tonight was chevelle. Tomarow is blake shelton, Friday is jake owen, sat is twisted sister, and sun is alice cooper. Yay!!
A friend of mine came by and dropped off some hatching eggs while we were gone and left them in a box by the door. Well the dogs ate a dozen or so of them.

grrrr. Bad dog!! Don't know why whe didn't bring them in the house.
Speaking of dogs, I was asked if I would take in a male pit. They are going to take him to the pound if they don't find him a home soon. From what I have heard about him he is a great dog. We are going to go see him tomarow.
So all-in-all a fun day!
We were invited to go out on dh cousins cabin on an island in the mississippi and camp this weekend. We will see. I'm not sure I trust anyone else to do my chores for the weekend. We will see.
