Wow, great find on the fabric. My sis got a bunch of those fabric sample books once. Humm, I wonder if she still has them? That bag looks great. Show us if you do more. g

Wow! Good for you. I don't understand why someone would put that in the trash and not send it to a charity or something.

Thanks, everyone! They really are fun and easy to make.

My sister took a tote with her to work to see if she could sell any. I thought $4-$5 would be reasonable. After all, they take about 20 minutes and I have only pennies in the straps. I think I have made 4 so far.

I also made a dog bed from two matching ones. I stitched 3 sides and put velcro on the end. I used an old bedsheet to make the pillow out of. I stuffed it with scraps. My dogs really seem to like it.
