Thanks - a nice reminder.

DH watched a show the other night that he is still talking about. (That in itself is a miracle since he seldom remembers what he watches from one TV program to the next).
It was about parts of the world where people live the longest and the whys. Most of the things in your article played a big part in the whys. Close knit communities, friendships, etc. Diet was a factor also but he found the close friendship part fascinating.

Everyone should read this article. I am sending a link to a couple of my friends who probably don't really need it but will enjoy it.

Good, I'm glad you guys are spreading this around. :)

I also enjoyed an article on that site (YES magazine) about celebrating Christmas without the presents. Since my family is exchanging just a minimum of gifts this year, I have to say that December hasn't been quite as overwhelming, which leaves a lot more capacity for Christmas spirit, IMO.
