Lorihadams-- hi guys...been busy!

Yep.....off to TSC to get paint brushes and a paint tray. But I'll be back!!! Who knows, I may just have some wine tonight....

Well, I finished priming both bathrooms at about 7- 7:30 and then locked up the birds, discovered that the bulb had blown in the heat lamp for the broilers so I had to get that taken care of. Then ate dinner and took a shower, talked to hubby and Tyler and now I'm watching Ghost Adventures on the travel channel and eating rocky road ice cream. :P

Tomorrow I plan on getting up and painting the first coat on the bathrooms and then going to an antique shop close by to look for some sort of cabinet to use as a bookshelf.

This show is really creepy....they're in a sanitorium in Kentucky, i believe. spooky stuff.

Chad actually wanted me to take pictures cause he didn't think I could get both rooms primed in 3 hours.....doesn't he know by now that I'm superwoman? :D

I can get a lot done in a short amount of time without 2 screaming kids pulling at my pant legs every 5 minutes... :gig

Yeah, I have watched 2 episodes of Ghost Adventures...creepy stuff but I like all that ghosty stuff. I had several experiences in college with spirits, some nice and some not so nice. Had to ask one to leave and do some cleansing with sage. He was mean...used to like to watch us take showers....VERY CREEPY. You could feel the negative energy come over you as soon as you went in there.

I have my black lab Tonka to protect me.......wait, who am I kidding.....he'd be hiding behind me going "RUH ROH RAGGY"
 
I would never be able to be by mself and watch scary stuff. I hate all scary stuff!:D Gina, I am with you, no scary stuff for me either.

Lori, enjoy your weekp-end by yourself, it sounds heavenly!

FIrst coat is done! The official word is in.....Lori SUCKS with a roller!

I'm gonna wait to do the second coat until Chad gets back and can help me....He's much better with the final coat.....I know when to throw in the towel! :P

In exciting news....hubby went to my papa's tractor pull and texted me that he had bought a holstein calf and a donkey and that we had to go get them in 2 weeks. HUH?

I still don't know if he's serious or kidding around....our fence isn't even finished yet!!!
 
It truly IS amazing how much we can get done without anybody around. I need one of those weekends :P

A calf and a donkey? Cool! Hope he's serious.
