I may have mentioned this in intro, but I am a Mum of 3 boys, 2 that are at school, I run my own massage clinic which I work in part time and specialise in sports and remedial massage.

We live about 2.5 kms out of town and live in a regional country town of about 100,000 so it's quiet large. The land is nearly 1 acre and located opposite the state forest. We live in an old miners cottage that has been extended and modified many times in the past 30 years.

I ride a road bike a few times a week, swim twice a week and do weights in my home gym and practice Yoga and meditation daily. I am very interested in health anf fitness.

My interest in SS comes from wating to lesson my ecological footprint. I have about 14 chickens, a Hamburn, 4 cochins, 2 barnevelders, 1 Wyandotte and some hylines.

We have a vegie garden, numerous water tanks, the worm farm, and do composting.

I am interested in cooking and make everything from scratch.

My boys are aged 10, 7 and 4 and we all love riding bikes about the place.

You said your sister is a firefighter also. Didn't I read in one of your post that your hubby is a firefighter?

Yes my sister is a Firefighter and Hubby is a Fire Officer, with the same organisation but not the same brigade. I met hubby through my sister.

My BIL is also in the fire brigade however he is a volunteer not a professional firefighter. He's a proffessional MICA Paramedic.

Coldplay is my fav group right now, my wife is from England and she inroduced me to them long before they became popular here. We visited OZ a couple years ago with some of her relatives that live there.

We went to the beach once while we were there, but my wife hurried us away. LOL


I must say that I enjoyed the folks in your neck of the woods, very kind and polite. Often my wife fools me with her lingo of speech, what things are called and nick names for different items. But when we visited, both of us were at a even keel.

73. MTV or VH1? - Hugh?

Forgive me, I'm LOL'ing right now!!

MTV when I was a kid, was a music video television channel. Not sure what it is now, but the last few times (we're talking a few years ago) it was a bunch of shows I wouldn't watch, and very few music videos.

VH1 is another channel like MTV that plays music videos of various bands, and on occassion has shows about specific music artists or groups. At least I think it's still like that. Who knows?

Meh, myself I prefer CMT (country music television)
But in reality, I don't get to watch any of the music channels.

Well today, we moved the Buddleigh, lime tree and Japanese Maple to more appropriate spots, as it was the correct time to do it with the lunar guide.

Then Dh and I got a sitter for the afternoon and drove to Melbourne to do a course with the Brahma Kumaris organisation called Positive thinking.

Tomorrow after Jordan's soccer we will go to the Talbot Farmers Market a quaint but huge market that sells an interesting assortment of things and I am hoping to score a fig tree, not sure if I need 2 to cross pollinate though.

Feeling a bit flat, I have a horrid cough that keeps me up half the night Then DS3 crawls into bed with me just as I manage to get to sleep.

Quail a Buddleigh is also known as butterfly bush if I'm thinking right.
My FIL & MIL went to Australia a couple of years ago and brought back loads of photos and MIL was just in love with all of the flowers every where they went. And the Buddleigh was some thing I remember telling her looked like a butterfly bush to me. They are lovely.
