We had to SSS a stray just the other day...sort of a preventative measure. The dog just wouldn't go away after several days, no ID, no one looking for him, making a nuisance of himself....had to go. Getting meaty chicks soon and Jake isn't the dog that my old Lucy was, he likes other dogs too much.

been there. and it SUCKS!
that is how we lost one of our last goats that we bottle fed.
sss 4 large dogs that had been droped off and formed a small pack. why dont people take those dogs to the shelter???

Well the girls were in lockdown today, and none showed up. We are at 23 now. We have contacted the neighbors and they are watching. They will kill them for us

itsnever easy and thats the one thing i fear, id hate to shoot a dog, but in the end my own animals have to come first..
ill always try to trap first and take em to the pound (if AC wont show up), but if that doesnt work ya gotta do what ya gotta do!
with that many birds down in 1 shot, id say your looking for all 3 and not just 1...there worse when they pack up.
