New Pearl pictures! She has gained so much weight, probably close to 300 pounds. Her backbone stuck up so far, her ribs showed and now she has muscle along her backbone. She still has a ways to go, but we are making progress.

Yesterday was a gorgeous day. The night before was a big storm, thunder, lightening and hard rain. We got 3 1/2 inches of rain, then woke up to a day like this. LOL LOL Today is sunny too, before we dive back into rain.

Pearl is coming along. She has gained a lot of weight, improved her manners and attitude tremendously. Hopefully she will be the horse I want her to be once she gains weight and feels good. Sometimes those skinny horses get an attitude or turn out to be crazy when they gain weight and strength, but I don't think that will happen with Pearl.

Maybe it's time to increase the demands on her behavior and rehabilitation. Will she lunge? Or have you thought about working her in hand over ground poles and/or simple obstacles?
