Somehow my husband missed that song when it came out. He could have been deployed at the time but I'm not sure. He was like "What did you just show me?" When I had him watch it a few years ago. The stupid chorus had popped into my head so I'd looked it up.

Tom Lehrer died on July 26th. He'd moved all his songs to the public domain 5 years ago so people could freely use them

Thanks to you I have that chorus stuck in my head now. You know I never thought about it before, but "little pig, little pig, let me in. Not by the hair of my chinny chin chin." Is almost a perfect chorus for a metal song.

First heard it on KIOK out of Richland, WA. Was the big rock station for that area of Wa and Or. They played it a lot. Someone managed to tape the video off either MTV or one of the local TV stations video hour and brought it in. History teacher let them play it in class.

Ok we may have had odd teachers, but it was a small school. If all the students passed whichever science class they had at the end of a semester, the science teacher would play Pink Floyd videos for us. Went to a grunge band concert with the History teacher as a student group.
