Lol yeah... I was kind of wondering that...
I would stick with the masa- the process of nixtamalization unlocks a lot more of the nutrients in the corn- making them more bioavailable.




If you think about it, most things "can" be an issue -- toxins form, leaves are good, stalks kill you, etc. Geesh, if we don't eat we know for sure we are goners.
