Yeah, we are going to move our mare to another farm for a month. So far it looks like we will have to keep him up for a month and walk him everyday for the month to make sure he drains ok and doesn't close up. He said he could go back to the trainer and be rode after a month if every thing goes ok. The vet said he'd give us more instructions when we pick him up.Denim Deb said:Just remember, even w/the surgery, you need to keep him away from mares for awhile! Still haven't heard from the vet about how the surgery went. Starting to get worried.....
I think the first pretty day we have that I feel good I'm going to declare a clean up day here. I've got a lot of just "stuff" laying around that needs to be washed and cleaned and put away like plastic barrels, feeders, waterers, cages, tools and such plus I really need to move the other round bales of hay and get everything weed-eated, mowed and raked. Have brush to burn and limbs to prune too.
