Morel's Country Cottage Wow! What a weekend! Fires, chemical spills

Thanks ya'll The computer desk is a mismatch of different shelving they had around here when we bought the place, I just painted it all black and put it in the way i did because it wasn't long enough...lol.
The desk is actually one of those old tin ceramic topped pie tables that I painted the legs and base of and threw in there as well. Added a few home depot fabric baskets, and voila! It only looks neat and tidy now because hubby isn't home to use it yet...
I really have to get working on my sewing room soon. I have a bigger closet in there that I am thinking up a design for to hold pretty much everything so it can all be stashed away when the room has to be used for company. I think I am going to use cubes for that one...we'll see.
The puppy was a nightmare last night...first night home...I think he is going to be outside sooner than later if he keeps that up...LOL!

Well we almost finished the pantry...it still needs another shelf along the east wall, and more wine storage

My DH and dad stained the house for me this weekend, it looks wonderful now! Love the stain color, so rich and vibrant.

Found the perfect island for my kitchen, ti just finishes everything off, and gives me a huge cutting and bakig surface...can't wait the the weather cools so i can put it to use now!!

And here's THUNDER...4 months old and already bigger than my boxer...he grows so fast he actually gets hiccups...never seen a dog with hiccups before, be he does everyday LOL!

Morel, it's all beautiful! I love the island in the kitchen!

I'm hoping to get a baking counter of some sort once we add on a dining room! that might be awhile, tho, as we are done with adding on for this year, and until we get the two rooms we built on finished!

The house is great and so is Thunder. Acutally, Thunder gets an awsome. (The house would get an awsome too, but...I don't want to take anything away from Thunder.
