Here are the completeld rabbit pens from the inside, the outside is tomorrow, darn I have to go to town for more chicken wire! I hate going to town! I nade a mistake on one of the doors, so it has to be changed, but that's for another day, right now it will keep the rabbit in and that's what matters

OMG never heard of this game, I almost peed my pants...and 2dream you made me almost do it again! Oh this one isn't going to be forgotten!!! At a dog's birthday party (not kidding a dog had a birthday party and invited my dog!!) they had "bobbing for wieners"! I thought that was the funniest thing I ever heard until now!!! You guys, it is not even Friday yet!!

Morel, you quilt is WONDERFUL!!!!! What a talent you posess!!! And that adorable baby almost makes me forget how difficult having a 12 year old can be!

Great pics of your garden and coop and hutch too. Can you tell, I am a wee bit jealous!!

I found the game online when searching for baby shower games. I thought it would be a hoot, and it was...for those few who actually played haha! And it would go over well at a biker party wouldn't it???

Morel, you know I was just thinking and looking at your great pics. You building that hutch and your other projects. It's kinda like your quilts. Piecing it all together to make it look just right. Shows you have talent no matter what you apply yourself to.

Thanks Tanks, but I'm not that good...I never start with a plan...a vison, yes, but never a plan...couldn't follow directions if my life depended on it, and that is a handicap in itself. I just start peicing, kind of like building blocks. But following a plan would be much easier! You are right though, everything I do comes from one picture or another...things I see, and then make, with alot of frustration at times

Oh Morel...what a BEAUTIFULL baby Lolaa is! I just want to pick her up and breath in all that sweetness! My mother used to say.... "smelling a baby is like a fountain of youth. Makes a woman feel young again!"
Your rabbit hutches are looking wonderfull! I am thinking I need to revamp my coop...lots of wasted space in there.
That quilt is BEAUTIFULL! Great job! What talent! I wish I had the talent to sew...but for the most part, i fumble through with buttons and hems.
Keep up the good work...I cant waite to see the outside area for the rabbits!

Here's the rabbit pen addition...complete! The rabbits are just loving it...they run in and out like crazy!
First I made the exit holes on the outside of the coop...I should have done it on the side without windows but that is the north side and it is for my broodies.

Then I built the outdoor part of the pens. I put them high so dogs and such can't get into it...48" off the ground to be exact. I still have to eventually build access doors in the front. Underneath those will eventually become a worm bin (since we live on the lake and no one on the lake sells worms it may become quite profitable in time:>) We live next door to a campground with a gas bar as well so they will probably be my best customers. Word will spread fast once I get this going. I'll probably sell alot more worms than eggs!


Inside and outside pics

I think eventually I will be repeating the same setup on the other side of my coop for my banties...I will be housing one more doe on the other side as well as 2 seperate banty pens, (for my silkies and buff brahma banties) and underneath I think I will have a tray to catch the droppings and put a hay storage compartment under that.

Morel, what a wonderful job you have done. That is not only beautifuly done but so well thought out and functional.

Thanks for the pics, it gives me some great ideas. Unless I completely tear down and start over I can't do what you have done but you have given me some "outside the box" ideas.
