Morel's Country Cottage Wow! What a weekend! Fires, chemical spills

WOW! Love the fireplace! It is super cute and I am really happy for you guys! :hugs

What a lovely place! How exciting for you to get back to the country :weee

Good luck on the sale, I pray that it goes smoothly for you :)

Still praying for the sale of my house...spring is finally starting to show it's face here though so soon the snow wll be gone and the crocuses, tulips and daffodils will be up and maybe help a little:)

Went to the new house today to take measurements...whoo hoo...I have a 12x 14 chicken shed...all fenced in with GOOD fencing and pretty much ready start using. Here are some pics!

It has a 32 x 19 irregular foot fenced area around the shed

I am so excited! We take posession April 30th

Getting very very excited as moving day gets closer! It is spring here and I can't wait to get my hands dirty over there, in the dirt....hang some laundry on the clothesline! I don't have a clothesline here. I think there is a bilaw against it or something...no one here has one.
I ordered my chicks! Austrlorpes and Domoniques! 25 in all...they will arrive May 29th around. I have lots of work to do before they come...have to get the shed ready and inhabitable....make a brooder...my spring list is a big one! LOL! Have to plan a veggie garden as well. I ordered lots of organic heritage seed.

And I have been packing! Lots of showings on the house, tons of interest, no buyer yet....:barnie
But it will happen. Soon I hope!

:celebrate I totally missed your update about the house until just now. It sounds lovely!

Packing when you want to be moving is such fun!

If you're having a lot of showings on your current house that's got to be a good feeling. The right buyer will come along.

Chicks, a garden, and a clothesline.. what more could you want!

Ahhhh, it really is everything I want, I have really regretted the move to town...but have made some great freinds here over the last year so it hasn't been all bad!
It's raining here today, expecting thunder showers today and all night...I LOVE storms, and I love hearing the thunder and lightening at night while I sleep. It seems we haven't had a good storm in a long time.
Packing is kind of fun...tossing is even better. Simplify! Can't wait to get back to that simple country way of doing things, I really miss it!
