Arrggghhhh!! Too much to do...and not enuff "me" to do it!!
On the upbeat....we now have 3 hens a laying....woot. I might get home growed chicken seeds after all!!!
This week has turned crazy busy. I was hoping to get outside work done.....grass starting to get bushy...needs mowed/bagged...tossed into the compost bins. We aren't going to have compost to turn out into the gardens in spring though...demmit. We didn't get the piles reloaded in time....one is half full....the other...no even. s o, maybe next spring.
I did find a lovely rotted tree stump out by the tin shed. I dug it up on monday....to add to my front flower garden. I did that Tuesday. Otherwise, I have NO compost to be had on the property.

Sux...bigtime
It's just been cold, damp and chilly all week...looks like the same for next week. More like March weather. Damp, 50's...with chance of rain. No line laundry till I see nicer weather.
Yesterday...MIL called me. She sends her leftovers over for us. Dunno why she makes too much...just her and her husband there. Anyhoo...supper is made.
She also wanted for me to go to her elderly (80's-90's) friends house with her. The lady needs her raincoat altered in front, as he dowagers hump is getting so progressed that she can no longer stand straight. That'll have to wait till next week. I was on my way home yesterday, from her house and my cell rang. Was my lawyers office calling, saying they had rec'd the legal paperwork we had been waiting on, from out of state. So,I drove right by my turnoff, and continued on to the next town over to pick it up. Got home and had phonecalls to make. On to the next step. Which is, now driving the 40 miles today, to the town DH works in...to do the next step. It all takes time.
Still leaves me with stuff to do around the ranch here.

DH heads over to his folks house tomorry. His folks are remodeling their bathroom to accommodate wheelchair access and all. He has to be there at 7am. Gonna be a long day for him.
We have seed potatoes to plant this weekend too. Have to till the garden for that. At least the potato row...
My plan is also to do the potatoes in contractor bags/experiment. Plant one bag of each of the 3 varieties I bought. Red, Kennebec, and the russet. Just to see how they do, and if they produce anything. The rest will go back into the main garden. I need to dig up some carrots...see if they did anything. I dug some 2 weeks ago.....teency and pale orange.
Hmmm...might be back later to type in more.
