Did that also for long time... But mine are biker boots, same thing basicly just a different style. I've had these boots since 1979, yep that's right... 1979, excellent quality made in USA. They need a good cleaning, polish and coat of mink oil, so all the dogs follow me around. These have been resoled 3 times. The last time I went ahead and did the inners also. They need new heals again, so they are out of commission for the time being. I was thinking about making up some walnut heels for them and have the cobbler glue them on when he does the heels. I think wood heels would be a nice touch, since I like to woodwork.

I will say though, no boot is more comfortable or fits my feet better than these. They have had 40 plus years to shrink around my feet. They are cold in the winter and no steel toes, but I had top of the line outer soles put on last resoling, so they have great traction. But man or are they difficult to get off, my wife has to help me ๐Ÿ˜‚

These are now my "dress boots" to where out for fancy gatherings.

Sorry i'm showing my again. shame Otis died in 1967 in a plane crash. Such a fantastic talent. One has to wonder what other gifts he might have gave us to enjoy 53 years later.

There was a boy that I liked as a young girl... can't even remember his name... but he liked this song and it has stuck with me ever since....

I like the fit of mid height Bog brand better on me, but Muck are good boots. I had a pair of Mucks long ago and did wear them out. I have narrow feet so my feet always move and cause the wear. Still got 2 years out of them.

Well that's encouraging, 2 years ๐Ÿ‘. I'll most likely wear these most of the time around the farm, except when we go out somewhere. I dislike loose fitting boots for the reason you mentioned, plus I feel less stable in them. These are a nice snug fit, which is nice.

I have wanted a pair of Mucks for quite some time, but could not bring myself to pay such a hefty price. Iโ€™m done with the cheap, donโ€™t last a season rubber boots. I alternate between pull on, and easy to kick off, leather work boots and lace up work boots. I got a feeling that when I find my farm, Iโ€™m gonna suck it up and buy some Mucks.
They are good Bay, I've been wearing them every since I bought them.
