mullein: save the earth with cowboy toilet paper

Yep, that was a good one!!!!

Forrest was a HOOT!

Skeeter mentioned using the root, but never said how and for what.....can you tell us?

Skeeter does mention what it is for, but he was a little unsure and I needed to trim the video down a bit - so I cut it out.

Yeah, Forrest needs to chill a bit.

Another great use for mullein, is to harvest the seeds ans crush them into a powder. The powder is a pretty good insecticide for potato beetles, cucumber beetles, flea beetles, cabbage worms, raspberry bugs, and asparagus bugs, as well as most other arthropods. It is also said to be effective for parasitic mites on chickens and other fowl.

The seed powder can also be spread on water as a a fish paralytic. The active ingredient is readily absorbed into the bloodstream through the gills of the fish, but not as easily through the skin or through the gastrointestinal tract.

ETA: Great video, BTW.

I add mullein into all my cold medicines.

Compacted soil? We has that!! Go CO.
