maybe a splash of two, next hatch. One of my hens raised up a single chick this year. I was blessed, it was a pullet!
Plus, my 9 yr old roo, Handsome, has come out of molt with a lovely feathering again. He's showing age in actions but, wisely stays away from any spats that happen in the rooster flock. The youngers do show him some respect.
