Yes, mostly good week lol. I'm very tired and in need of a normal week next week! Tomorrow I have an appointment, then going to the feed store and DH has to fix the heat once that part comes in. Plus work on the new doe's pen and try to move the pig before she gets out again!
 
Yeah right? Well got my flu shot (a little less screaming and crying than DD yesterday, lol)

My midwife changed my due date today so I am now due in January, and now my 3rd trimester starts next week. Eek! It is good though, because DD was 4 weeks early and my hospital ships you to the bigger local hospital between 35 and 36 weeks if you deliver early. I REALLY don't want to go to the other hospital so this lessens the chances of that happening.
 
January instead of February is cool!! Deliver in late January and you can have the little darling on my b'day!
 
Well it gives me more time before kidding season, lol! Due January 30th but they say I am fairly likely to go early like with DD. We will see. I just want to make it to 36 weeks, which could push it to around New Years. That would be a surprise!
 
Well, for your sake early January would be better - and what's more fun than a New Year's baby?

BUT - if you make it to January 30th she'd be born on MY b'day! :fl WooHoo!:fl
 
I'm hoping for sometime in the middle of January. That would work for me. Darn kids just won't let you plan on their arrival, lol!
 
We started putting up the temporary goat pen for the newbies while we wait for our boiler part to be delivered. I hope to finish it before dark, then we won't have to stress about it tomorrow and we can just go get them and plop them in their new home Sunday. The majority of the rest of winter farm prep is waiting on the tractor. Except we have to get some plastic and work on the winter turkey pen. But that will go up fast.

Doing the meat birds in 2 weeks, the Sunday before Thanksgiving. Then the feed bill will be down to "normal", winter breeding stock amounts.

I have lowered the price on my Nigie and no offers. Seriously goats are just not selling right now. Could use some hay money too, thanks to the unexpected expense of running a generator for days (it cost like half of my monthly electric bill!) and fixing the boiler. Oh well.

Ugh...I hate it when that happens. Hope somebody comes through. Have you ever tried selling close to Christmas? Maybe somebody wants a cute little goat for a Christmas present???
