K, just have to laugh at the brownie talk. I was eating a brownie yesterday too! Right after all of the healthy eating talk and I thought about popping back on just to point that out.
I had made a one serving brownie in the microwave and topped it with some ice cream.
I should probably go eat some veggies now...

I forgot I have ice cream in the freezer! DS actually came looking for his ex-brownie a few minutes ago lol That'll learn him.

NH -- DH & gun for the bobcat.

Ice cream for the brownie. Warm the brownie! I've been wanting ice cream for a few days now. Guess I will bring some home after work tomorrow.

I just gained 5 lbs with all the talk of brownies and ice cream.

Was the game cam (and the bobcat) close to your critters?

Not close enough to warrant possibly going to jail for shooting it, no. Seriously I don't know what they would do to you for shooting a bobcat in NH, but they're protected and I want none of that. Fish and Game officer lives a mile up the road.... I'm all set on a visit from him!
If it was sniffing around my goats I would be more upset. I don't love that it was close enough to see from the barn, but he wasn't threatening the livestock. Still want a dog to make sure he stays out in the woods though!

A bobcat! Cats are nasty, they are unafraid and sneaky. Yes, you certainly do need a LGD!

Apparently northern bobcats are larger than Southern bobcats. And they are more aggressive than lynx... DH and I read up on bobcats today, lol.

Definitely don't like the idea of having kids out there without a dog. They're little bobcat snacks!

Never did go to the feed store today. It was too cold. In the teens but wind chill around zero, don't like packing up the girls and driving around in that.
