Northed - Not so far north

Never been in a cat. I'd probably capsize in it!

I found it wasn't so bad, and I'm not notorious for my sense of balance
It almost did capsize a couple of times, when my partner and I pointed it in the wrong direction. I've never been one for sports

I will proceed to breathe life into my journal once more.
I have been watching my chickens go through a very heavy molt. The bare patches on their backs!

 

[Northed]

Today we saw a presentation on perception trickery. You know, those things where the cubes have different coloured squares on them... except when the surrounding shenanigans are removed you realise they are the same colour?

I love those things, it's always a hoot seeing how they turn out.
"Only through uncertainty do we gain understanding."
(Forgive me if I got that quote wrong, but I didn't get my pen out quickly enough.)

Have any of you lovely folks seen The Matrix?
This is turning out to be a very interesting film.

In other news, one of the ancient hens has just laid an egg this morning.

I will be appreciating this three week break.

Chillin', some time off, relaxing, maybe doing and not just talking about.
Dang, I love holidays.

We have lift-off. Both chickens are laying again. The old one is not laying, we have given up hope of seeing a comeback from that one.
