I stick with super easy stuff. My attention span is too short for more involved projects :D

Love this site!!! Thanks for posting the link! I'm soooo gonna mahe the shelf-bra halter! ;)

Thank you so much for posting this. I just got my moms sewing machine and now I want to sew.

Oooos Thank Wifezilla! I bought two sewing machines yesterday for 40 bucks! She was just "tired of sewing and letting them sit around". One's a kenmore the other is a singer. She also threw in all of her sewing stuffs. I want to make a new apron.

Those are great sites. They even have patterns for making your own underwear!!!
I wish I had more time and energy, so I could do all the stuff I want to do :P

Thanks! So much fabric stored away from when I worked in a fabric store during college... time to do something with it all!

I refuse to let you guys talk me into sewing too, canning is bad enough. Though I did just buy a tube of liquid stitch for hemming up my curtains to fit the new windows.

Try a small area first, xpc. You might prefer the iron-on tape called "Stitch Witchery" or something like that over the liquid stuff. It gives a nice flat hem result. Either way, don't plan on putting those curtains into the washer and dryer, ever, unless you learn to sew.

Think of the sewing machine as a precision power tool.... :D
