Do I get some mean mom award or something??
I made my oldest cut up nearly the entire deer by himself! I helped him with a little bit of it and 11 yo helped him a little bit but he did most all of it!! I did it more to teach him a
lesson about hunting and that he is not going to get to go out and have all the fun hunting and then bring the deer back to me for me to do all the work. I am a mean mom, I know!
I am looking forward to Thanksgiving dinner. Thankfully my in laws are friends with my mom and brother so they made it very clear that they were invited to Thanksgiving dinner.
It just makes the holidays so much easier when we do not have to go to two different places and my mom is now working quite a bit so she will not have to put on a full dinner. Everything has been working out for my mom. She really enjoys her new job all though she is getting quite a work out!
Major celebrating going on in our house tonight! My oldest got his first deer! He shot a 10 point buck with a bow! The neighbor said it was 13 points but I was not counting little nubs...I know I am a mean mom!

but we can really use the money! It is a SUPER easy job! I will be working security and I just need to make my presence known so no one comes in and steals anything! I am going to be working opposite shift as my mom. This is her regular job. So between the two of us we just need to cover the place 24/7 for the entire holiday weekend.
