I need to actually do a TON of cutting at this point. I should actually be doing that now!!! So, when DH gets home and gets the thread to work then I can just whip them thru the machine.
I am so excited....just pulled the mattress changing pad out of the dryer and dumped a glass of water on it and it did not soak thru at all!! It is going to work perfect for my homemade sanitary napkins!! The backing in made out of the same type of PUL fabric that I got in the mail today for the cloth diapers. The changing pad was $1.99 and the PUL fabric was $9.99 a yard!!! The changing pad was in mint condition too!! I am so excited to make them!! I am thinking I should get several of them out of this changing pad!! I will have to post pics to my blog of what the changing pad looked like before and when I get them all sewn up and done!

Love mine!! So easy to use!! But, I can not use it for postpartum. It should be good for several years!! There is a small learning curve with it but by the second month it was super easy to use.
I am seriously hoping I can find some more changing pads tomorrow in as good of condition as the one I found yesterday.
Holy smokes!! The guy said he has over $300 in just treated lumber in it. My mom says it is in excellent shape. I told my mom to offer him $75...he counter offered $80...I bit!! There is no way I can talk DH into building me something that big or nice. He is having a fit trying to figure out how to get it home. The owner said him and his dad had to use floor jacks just to get it set out by the road and they think it weighes around 800 pounds!!!
