Pam she's adorable!! Have you picked a name for her? You don't have to tell online if you don't want to, you just keep referring to her as baby girl, so just wondered if you had a name yet or not.

She's sooo tiny!!

Yep, picked a name....but, I don't post them to the internet. I am just funny about stuff like that.

Welcome home Pam! She is so tiny! Oh my word, I can't believe they let you take her home as tiny as she was. I figured they would have kept her a while until she got some weight put on. I'm glad that she is home and doing well and I hope you get to feeling better soon. My BFF had a c-section and it was rough on her too. Just make sure to get lots of rest and DON'T OVERDO IT!!!

Happy for you guys and happy birthday to DD!

They let her go home because they said there was no reason to keep her....no IV, no oxygen, no monitors...she is perfect! I just have to check in with the pediatrician tomorrow to give him an update.

All I have done today is rest! Much easier to rest at home than what it is in the hospital becuause I have no one waking my up every hour to check my bp or draw blood. I just hold the baby and rest...and most of the time I am doing both at the same time! DH put the laptop up on a stand that looks like a tray for serving breakfast so I just lay that aside on the bed when I want to lay down....other than that I am sitting up in bed.

No, the maternal cravings have never gone away for me!!!!!!! I am already crying over this possibly being my last baby since I had so many complications...but DH did promise we could look into adoption when they were wheeling me in for the c-section!

There is absolutely nothing that smells as good as a baby's skin and hair!

Quail, I'd even smell the bad end to get to have little babies again! I so miss that feeling, that feeling of holding the most perfect creature on earth since the Christ child was born. Its spiritual!

They say that the closest you ever get to seeing God, is while gazing into a newborn baby's face...and I believe that to be soooo true!
