WOO HOO! New chicks hatching! I did the same thing when I heard our incubator chirping for the first time:)
 
I am so eggcited to hear chirping it is driving me crazy!! After killing 74 eggs I am praying that I get a super good hatch this time!! There certainly is a lot of chirping going on in there this morning!!!
 
Congrats!!! Baby chicks, hooray! Glad you're getting some rest...sorry your hubby scared you half to death...:P
 
:celebrate I HAVE A PIP!! I HAVE A PIP!!! I AM jumping out of my skin!!
I was just talking to my mom on the phone and she was asking about the eggs and I could just hear them chirping like crazy but I told her I did not have any pips yet and they probably would not start hatching until tomorrow...then I hung up and looked at them again and I saw a little crack in one of them!! I could have peeps today!!!
 
I have a third egg that has pipped!!! :barnie This is worse than going into labor myself!! Why does it take so long??????

My saying of the day "A watched pip never zips!!"

And it is not even from one of the eggs that was pipped!
