Just popping in to say that my wiggly egg is pipping!! 
He has not made much progress though in the last hour so he is making me nervous...his little hole is the same size and I am not seeing anything from any of the other quail yet.
I called my mom to tell her about the quail and she said my Aunt Daisy may stop in this morning to see that baby.
They are over the road truck drivers from FL and are in town for a family funeral today. One of my first cousins died while I was in the hospital. Did I ever mention that aside from my mom, dad, brother, and BFF (also cousin) I generally try NOT to associate with any of my family?? So, I am hoping she does not stop by. 
Afterall I am a 45 minute drive out of her way!!
My house was a MESS!! Of course, DH and all the kiddos left for church so there was no one to straighten it up any....so I did a little bit. Mostly just picking up the shoes, dishes, and toys but, no vacuuming or sweeping and ended up with a dull headache. I am sure it is probably from my bp and bending over so much. Now, that I have been sitting down here my headache has gone away....thankfully!
A considerable amount of snow has melted the last couple of days!!
It is starting to seem like spring outside!!

The quail egg that pipped this morning still has not made anymore progress!!! It has been 10 hours! No other eggs have pipped yet. My BFF ended up stopping by today! We were able to get the house cleaned up because she gave us a 20 minute warning. So, the sweeping and vacuuming got done. Thankfully DH had the boys do the dishes while I was napping. I just feel so self concious when people come to my house. This is only the second time my BFF has been to my house in 10 years! Her house is HUGE and she a-nally cleans it EVERYDAY!! And she has no kids to even get it dirty!! When we went to their house her DH literally followed my kiddos around to make sure they were not touching the walls and pillars and such. They are the type of people that like to see vacuum marks on their carpet and not foot marks. Haha! Our carpet is so wore the vacuum does not even leave marks anymore!! But, we did have a nice visit!! She just sat and held the baby the whole time and oohed and ahhed over all the millions of things the other kids had to show them!!

Hey girl...been away this weekend so I'm catching up. Wow your bp is still high! I sure hope it goes down soon.
Both my kids are vaccinated but our peds office has 2 wings...one for sick kids and one for well visits. One of the things I will miss if we end up moving.
My son is due for his 4 yr shots and my daughter is due for her 2 yr shots soon. If we move i don't know if we will continue or not.
How is your weather? Are you getting some of this spell of springlike weather we're getting? We are supposed to have a cold front soon so we'll be bundling up again.

NO!! And it is driving me CRAZY!!!!! Still no progress but he is still wiggling and alive! None of the other ones have pipped yet either! I thought quail were supposed to go like popcorn....once one started they all went within an hour!

A docs office with a sick and well side would be so nice!!
Yeah, my bp is still high.
If I keep getting the headaches, that seem to start in the late afternoon if I do not get a nap, much longer I am going to call my OB and see if maybe she can switch the bp med to something that might work better. Other than unexpected company things really have been VERY calm around here! I have also lost ALL of my pregnancy weight so that should have helped but it hasn't. Probably just going to take a little more time.

Well, I know I have probably done a MILLION things wrong!! I ended up opening up the one quail egg because he stopped moving. He was still alive. I put him back in the 'bator. The shell was stuck to the back of him and was not coming off so after about 20 minutes or a half an hour I ended up taking him out and taking the rest of the shell off of him. Then he was not standing up and it seemed like he had dry stuff all over him so I gave him a warm bath. His chirping got a little stronger after that. It has been at least 20 minutes since his bath and he still has not stood up. He can not seem to get his head off the ground. None of the other eggs have pipped at all. Hoping they still will!

Bummer PP. I don't know anything about hatching babies yet, so I can't offer any help at all. But what a bummer!
