Is there a certain place for pictures on here? Id love to look at pictures of homes and gardens and ideas

You can look in everyones journals, and there is a thread for POW=pic of the week...though it almost never gets changed weekly 
that's still what we call it here 
Most folks have TONS of pics in their journals. Try moolies journal since you are interested in canning and such, she has some terrific photos and content for canning. Barred buff does as well, and Farmer Jamie....several others. Try Pink Fox for great animal photos and small farm building projects, oh and home renovations too, that lady has got the stuff down pat in that department 
Just browse around and enjoy your stay
