see for some reason even in CT february was always the month for me, i think because i knew once march hit i coudl at least start prepping, and the spring bulbs always started comming up in march so even though it wasnt veggie planting season yet, it felt spring-ish...
but february...i dunno if this month has some funky electrical rythms, if its just that "in between seasons" time or what but my body just cannot sync up with February
mabe because its that month where everything hits harder...your monthly bills come a week and a half early and it feels like your paying twice in one month...
Mabe its because the days are starting to get longer but still not by much...mabe its got something to do with the position of the moon and electrical n dmagnetic impulses (i get thrown off by natural magnets sometimes, cant be around laylines for too long without feeling down in the dumps ect, and im realy sensitive to electro magnetic feilds (me and watches do NOT go well together, and cellphone batteirs tend to drain unnusually quickly if its on me...not that that ever happens often because i cant keep a cellphone in my pocket without feeling off...
just keep telling myself...its almost march, just one more week and i had an email from someone potentially interested in that protein skimmer which would be awesome if he buys it! *fingers crossed*
i need to figure out some ways to make money from home with little to no start up cost...so at least ive got soemthing extra to fill my days with...
anywho...its 100% VERY wet out this morning...
the wee hours of today brought though a MASSIVE rain/thunderstorm system that hit with some wake me up type thunder booms, i can sleep through a storm...but some of the cracks of thunder actually SHOOK the house...no realy some jars off the top of the fridge had hit the deck this morning, my alarmclock worked its way fof the dresser and since both cats decided last night was an excelent night to sleep outside...i knwo they didnt do it...the shakes woke me up a few times
supposed to e dry the rest of the day, but of course, grounds too soggy to do anything again for a few days.
the good news is though that i found out NOW that my raised beds with just the compost dont drain well and waterlog easily, so i definatly NEED to do peat (and im going to drill some small holes neer the bottom of the bds to assist with drainage...wouldnt think id have to because the beds are not levelon the ground...but looks like i am going to need to add a few drainage holes just to help. the peat should help too as peat sheds water rather than retaining it. Good to find out now though rather than when theres a bunch of veggies drowning from a summer storm lol.
the soggynss means ill be doing inside stuff again today.
gonna put ANOTHER coat of white on the bathroom door (this will eb 4 coats for the outside, hoping this one does it...ugh...
Dear former home owner...when painting trim, keep it simple, go wood or go white...if you want to bring color in paint the walls, its MUCH easier to cover wall color!
so i would like to do that.
i also got some inspiration from a photographer aquaintence of mine who has some GORGEOUS flower photos in her album, 3 of which are stunning sunflowers so i might try an recreate them in paint for my kitchen, have a couple of canvas boards not doing anything right now and i think sunflowers would work perfectly with the color scheme now going on in there.
today is also cleaning day, so i think between all that i should have enough to make the day speed on through.
